Indonesia advanced to the finals round AFF Suzuki Cup 2010. On the second leg match on Sunday (12/19/2010), Indonesia beat the Philippines with the same score as the first leg 1-0.Indonesia single goal scored by "El Loco" Cristian Gonzalez. In the final game of Indonesia will face Malaysia on 26 December and 29 December.
Indonesia played without Irfan Bachdim, due to injury during the first leg. The match began with an attack which is dominated by Indonesia. In 11th minute Indonesia almost scored through El Loco, unfortunately the action was stopped by goalkeeper Philippines. No less enthusiasm, the Philippines was to build an attack by relying on counterattacks.
On 22nd minutes Ian Araneta get a yellow card due to lift the foot too high. Okto kick 32nd minutes still wide on the left net Philippines. Robert Giyer get a yellow card on 37th minutes.
Gonzales left foot shot on 43 minutes led to the left corner that is not in reach by goalkeeper Philippines, change score to be 1-0 for Indonesia. Until the final whistle the first half the score remained 1-0.
In the early half of the second half the team did a lot of offense so that the level of tension among the players can not be avoided. Accurate kick from Zulkifli at 50th minutes can still be blocked by Neil.
Substitution of players made the Philippines to conduct refresher. At 56th minute Nestorio Jr. Margarse replace Roel Gener. Ian Araneta replaced by Emilio Caligdong at 75th minute, and replacing James Younghusband replaced by Yanti Barsales at 83rd minutes. While Indonesia played Arif Suyono replace Okto in 84th minutes. McMenemy was seen shaking his head to see the team who never could carve a goal.
Over time of four minutes until the final whistle sounded the score remained unchanged 1-0 for Indonesia. These results 2-0 on aggregate bring Indonesia to the final round AFF Suzuki Cup 2010.
